A seasoned entrepreneur, Larry founded several successful ventures including Personnel One, a national staffing agency. His dedication to service began in his early twenties when he enlisted in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant. As an attorney, Larry has built a distinguished career as a complex civil and commercial litigator, representing well over 10,000 individual and corporate clients. Erik C. Grandell is an attorney at Spiegel & Utrera, P.A., bringing over four decades of legal experience across family law, corporate law, litigation, and administrative practice. A seasoned litigator with jury trial experience, Mr. Grandell has appeared in courts ranging from the Justice of the Peace Court to the Delaware Supreme Court. Since 2018, he has served as Senior Parent Defense Counsel in Kent County, Delaware, representing indigent parents in Family Court proceedings involving dependency, abuse, and neglect, and has successfully advanced novel legal arguments resulting in the creation of new case law protecting parental rights. A former Delaware Deputy Attorney General (1989–1991), Mr. Grandell served as counsel for numerous state agencies and has appeared in the Delaware Chancery Court in corporate matters. Named "Best Lawyer" for Business Law by Main Line Today in 2010, he also contributed to the "Delaware Parent Defense Attorney Standards" manual and has served as a paralegal instructor at the National Academy of Paralegal Studies.
